FGTC was reestablished in April 2007 when Norlan Perez and Abby and Jose Sellek assumed ownership. Under the new management, FGTC has flourished. We offer quality gymnastics classes for both recreational and competitive gymnasts. With over 75 years of combined gymnastics experience, our coaches are all safety certified and professional members of USA Gymnastics, the sole governing body of gymnastics in the US.

Our program director/owner, Norlan Perez, was selected to attend the Jr. National Gymnastics School in Havana, Cuba, Martires de Barbados. Upon coming to the US, he continued training and became an Elite Level gymnast. This intensive training lifestyle instilled in him a love for the sport, and inspired him to dedicate his life to the passing of this tradition of excellence to the next generation of gymnasts.  Prior to FGTC, he established various well-known and respected gymnastics and cheerleading facilities most notably, Miami Artistic, Cheerzone, and Top Gun.   As a gymnastics coach, he was a 3 time recipient of the Florida Coach of the Year Award for men’s gymnastics.  Now as program director/owner of FGTC, he has re- established a program where the child’s self-esteem, mental, and physical abilities are developed and much success has followed.  We are proud to say that in just the first year, FGTC produced many champions from both the boys’ and girls’ teams.

Our administrative director/owner, Abby Sellek, brings with her many years of teaching experience. As a State of Florida Certified  teacher in Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education, and Gifted Education, she ensures that the emotional and mental, as well as physical needs, of each unique child is met.  Her love of children and understanding of the correlation between a child’s intellectual and physical development are the building blocks of FGTC’s philosophy.
